![]() This happened to mac air after charging it overtnight. Apple are refussing to replace it free as it's out of warrently! Surely this dangerous and fault? 3GJUICE MAC AIR - External Battery for Macbook Air. EyeTV Hybrid - Mac TV tuner stick that receives fr. Apple AirPort Extreme Base Station My only complaint about the screen is its native resolution is a bit low for my tastes, which I hope isn't just a personal preference. I'd rather see more. Apple made some significant changes with the Mid 2011 MacBook Air – adding Thunderbolt, moving from Intel Core 2 Duo CPUs to Core i5 (with an i7 option), switching from Nvidia GeForce graphics to Intel HD Graphics 3000, and bringing back the backlit keyboard that disappeared with the 2010 model. The 11.6″ and 13.3″ models are far closer in specification this time, with the smaller MBA running a dual-core i5 at 1.6 GHz while the base 13-incher is a slightly faster 1.7 GHz. Both are optionally available with a 1.8 GHz dual-core i7. The 2011 models use the same SSD modules as the 2010 models – as does the Mid 2011 Mac mini – which means there are already several upgrade options available. Kudos to Apple for sticking with the same type of SSD across two completely different product lines. As always, whatever RAM comes with your MacBook Air is what you’re stuck with; there is no upgrade option after the fact. That said, all but the US$999 entry-level 11-incher come with 4 GB of system memory, and the $999 model can be upgraded from 2 GB to 4 GB for just $100, which we strongly recommend. The Mid 2011 MBA retains the two USB 2.0 ports (one on each side) the MBA gained last year, a huge improvement over the single USB port in pre-2010 editions. The MBA has no built-in optical drive, but you can add an external USB 2.0 SuperDrive (only compatible with the MacBook Air) for US$79. Rather than include an install disc or flash drive, includes a recovery partition. A few things are missing. There is no FireWire port, although we may see Thunderbolt-to-FireWire adapters at some point. There’s no built-in ethernet port; if you need ethernet, Apple sells a USB 2.0 ethernet adapter for $29. The MacBook Air is available only with an 18-bit glossy display (not the 24 bits you might expect). Like the iPod and iPhone, it does not have an easily replaceable battery. Cost to have Apple replace the battery out of warranty is $129. 13″ MacBook Air Differences The 13″ MacBook Air has an SD Card slot, and it uses a bit more system memory (384 MB vs. 256 MB) to display video on its larger built-in display. 13.3″ MacBook Air Specs • introduced 2011.07.20 at US$1,299 (128 GB SSD) and US$1,599 (256 GB), 1.8 GHz i7 option for 256 GB model • Part no.: Mac OS • requires OS X 10.7 Lion or later. ![]() Is an amazing piece of software. To start, it is a clean, functional, and fast code editor. Not only does it have incredible built in features (multi-edit and vim mode), but it has support for plugins, snippets, and many other things. Jan 30, 2013 - Sublime Text 2 is far more than just a text editor; it combines stunning performance with a huge feature set. Bring up the Find feature with cmd/ctrl + F, then turn on case sensitivity by pressing cmd + alt + C on Mac OS X, or (alt + C on. Use projects to organise your workspace and customise settings. So your Java program is put in a something.java file (something must match the class name -- yes case sensitive) and you go to your terminal and navigate to the folder in which your something.java file is stored. I know there have already been many articles like this online, but I am teaching a class on Sublime Text and thought it would be good to have all the information online. In this article, we'll be diving into the best parts of Sublime Text. You've probably already heard of some of these, but maybe not some others. Features Command Palette ctrl + shift + p The command palette let's you access pretty much anything in the settings menus, call your package commands, change file syntax, handle Sublime projects, and so much more. For instance, you are able to call Git commands add, branch, commit, push, and pull all from the command palette. File Switching ctrl + p Sublime Text provides a really fast way to open up new files. Just press ctrl + p and start typing the name of the file you want. Once it shows up, just press enter and start typing directly into that file! To Use: ctrl + p Goto Symbols ctrl + r When you have a large file with a bunch of methods, pressing ctrl + r will list them all and make them easier to find. Just start typing the one you want and press enter. To Use: ctrl + r Sublime Text 3 also has a new feature (Goto Definition). It provides Sublime Text with more capabilities closer to an IDE. Take a look at that if you're interested. Multi-Edit ctrl + click This is in my opinion, the absolute best feature of Sublime. After using it here, it's hard to go back to other text editors. There are many different ways to use multi-edit: • ctrl + d: Select the current word and the next same word • ctrl + click: Every place you click will create a cursor to edit • ctrl + shift + f AND alt + enter: Find a word in your files and then select them all Snippets Snippets are yet another great feature of Sublime Text. You can use the pre-installed ones, build your own, or install a package that has more. All you have to do is type in a word and it will expand into your snippet. For example, typing lorem will generate lorem ipsum text. To Use: Type a word that activates a snippet (ie lorem) and press tab. For a full list of the Sublime Text Keyboard Shortcuts, take a look at our. Projects Projects is an integral part of my workflow in Sublime Text. A project is just a Sublime workspace in which your folders are open and stored in the sidebar. This helps since you can define a project and add folders to it, and be able to switch between folders quickly. I'm trying to add an HTML E-Mail signature to Outlook 2016 for macOS. The method that got me closest to my goal is documented here: This approach works perfect when I add the signature in Outlook Web Access (owa). As to say the recipient sees the signature formatted as intended and the image is downloaded from a external server. Also the message shows no attachment clip in the inbox of whatever E-Mail client. But when I add the signature to Outlook for Mac (Version 15.36) the embedded image is being downloaded before sending a E-Mail and gets included as an attachment. So the message does show an attachment clip in the inbox of whatever E-Mail client. Does anybody experience same issues? Has someone found a solution/work around? By: David Rivers course • 1h 5m 56s • 6,265 viewers • Course Transcript - You may want to add a signature file to the bottom of all of your outgoing e-mails. A signature file is a small block of text that contains your contact information. It gets appended to the bottom of every e-mail that you send out. To create a signature file, from the very top of the screen, click Outlook and choose Preferences. In the Email section, click Signatures. It comes with a default signature called Standard. Let's change that. I'll click Standard, and on the right-hand side, I'm going to erase any existing text that's in there and put in the text that I want to use for my signature file. Now that my signature file's been made, I need to assign it to an account. ![]() Remember, I have two accounts set up with Outlook. Down at the bottom of the screen, I can see the account called Landonhotel. For new messages, I'm going to click the blue triangles and choose the Standard signature file, which we just created. ![]() It's up to me to decide if I also want that signature file appended to •. |
